This place is completely and totally unprofessional.
Management also wants to know everything about your private life even though it is none of their business. And they wonder why they can't keep any employees for a long time because they treat the employees like slaves. Sometimes you get a disciplinary action write up for no reason at all. Clearly, these painted cabinets are not meant to be in a kitchen. Even after contacting Showplace- they arent standing behind their product and instead have shifted the issue to be mine- we clean the cabinets too much, there is too much sunlight, you cook too much, etc. Management creates a hostile work environment by always threatening to write up employees for every single little mistake they make. I have a family of 5 adults- we are not hard on our cabinets. If you are a lazy employee, you are a factory favorite who eventually gets promoted to a management position within the company. If you are a good employee you are constantly ridiculed and harassed by management to drive you to quit. Another huge problem is too much favoritism. Employees are always snitching on other co-workers for stupid little petty stuff such as using the bathroom for at least 10 minutes during working time or being 5 seconds late to your work station coming back from breaktime. They always promote the wrong people for management positions such as production manager. The pay is horrible even after years of being there every one is making out of high school wages. I worked for this company for over 2 years and I have never seen such a low-grade treatment of employees.
